How to Register for the Nanomed Europe 2023 conference?
Please use our
Eventbrite platform to get your tickets or the conference. About MetrINo:MetrINo-Metrology for Nanotherapeutics, starting the 1st June 2023 , is the first European collaborative project financed by the EURAMET (European Associations of National Metrology Institutes) to respond to immediate metrological needs in the field of nanomedicine expressed in the last 5 years by industry, regulatory agencies and policymakers. It aims to develop and validate traceable measurement methods and reference materials for the quality assessment of innovative nanotherapeutics, and for their detections in cells and tissues, that are fit for purpose for the formulations in the clinics. The main focus is on synthetic lipid-based, e.g., liposomes and LNPs-RNA, and metal oxide nanoparticles. The highly multidisciplinary consortium coordinated by the French Metrology Institute (LNE), and composed by 9 metrology institutes, the ETPN association, 2SME, 1 pharmaceutical industry, 1 hospital and 6 academic partners, aims at making Europe a leading player in the field of metrology applied to nanomedicine, and to support the industrial stakeholders internationally in the implementation of EMA, medical device regulation (MDR) and FDA directives by contributing to the development of suitable reference materials and consensus standards.
About the ETPN (www.etp-nanomedicine.eu):The ETPN is an industry-led initiative established in 2005, in collaboration with the European Commission, to promote nanotechnology applications in healthcare. It became an independent association in 2015 and has over 130 members from 27 countries, representing various stakeholders in nanomedicine, from academia to large industry and healthcare providers. The ETPN focuses on nanotherapeutics, medical devices, nanodiagnostics and imaging, biomaterials, regenerative, personalized medicine & the most disruptive innovations for healthcare "when nano can do more".
The ETPN serves as a think tank for nanomedicine in Europe, supporting public funding for promising R&D topics and raising awareness. It also acts as a driving force for industrialization, detecting top innovations in nanomedicine and facilitating their access to clinical settings. Additionally, the ETPN drives the convergence of health technologies in Europe, having coordinated the NOBEL Project and contributed to the establishment of the HealthTech4EU Alliance, which aims to shape EU-funded programs together with healthcare industries
About Nanomed Europe 2023 (www.nme23.eu)The European Technology Platform on Nanomedicine (ETPN) is excited to be co-hosting the NanomedEurope 2023 (#NME23) conference with the British Society for Nanomedicine and the University of Liverpool in June 2023.
#NME23 is the 18th annual event of ETPN & the 5th ENM conference merged into a unique event, aiming to bring the whole European healthtech & nanomedicine communities together.
- We are finalizing a fantastic program, notably feat. Prof. Molly Stevens and Yvonne Perrier as keynote lecturers
- Scientific lectures on Nanomedicine & sessions about translation to market of nanomedical products will be held in parallel.
- Plenary session on regulatory challenges for Nanomedicine, notably feat. Dr. Anil Patri from FDA, experts from MHRA and Prof. Scott McNeil as keynote lecturers
- ELRIG UK event on smart Drug delivery, etc.
We look forward to welcoming you to Nanomed Europe 2023 and the MetrIno workshop!
