Program Guidelines/Expectations:
• Applicants must be rising juniors or seniors and at least 16 years old by July 1, 2021
• Applicants must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA
• Applicants should be nominated by School Counselors, teachers, school principals, and/or coaches
• Applicants must be able to fully participate in the entire certification program (July 20 - 22)
• Applications must be accompanied by two Letters of Recommendation from a non-relative adult (teachers,
        school counselors, coaches, current employer, etc.) These can be sent to Tyler Painter (tpaint85@vt.edu),
        P.O. Box 217, Fincastle, VA 24090.
• The application must be completed in its entirety and submitted by Friday, April 16th at 5:00 PM.
