To be eligible to be a drum major you must be a member of the band program as well as be a junior or senior during th 2020-2021 school year.

Drum majors will be selected based on an audition demonstrating the following skills:
-Demonstrate good marching technique
-Demonstration of vocal commands
-Conduct in 4/4 time with a metronome set to 80, 100, 120
-Show your own salute

All Candidates should:
-be able to inspire and motivate fellow band members
-be able to think under pressure and adapt to the situation
-be able to accept criticism and act upon reflection/ analysis of that feedback
-demonstrate dedication to the band program
-possess basic leadership skills
-be an accomplished musician
-be dependable and personable
-exhibit a good attitude and be enthusiastic in their dealings with the band
