This survey is to determine the need/desire for daycares to have a Certified Behavior Analyst train their staff/help kids individually
What a Behavior Analyst does to support an early childhood education environment (ages 0-5):
- Educate and support teachers in their understanding of child development norms when it comes to behaviors.
- Provide training on responding appropriately (with kindness, empathy, and firmness) when a child behaves in an unsafe or disruptive way.
- Create plans for individual children as needed when behaviors are repeated and additional support is required.
- Consult with administration, parents, and the teaching team when previous interventions have been unsuccessful and the family is facing expulsion.
