Department of Mathematics Working Student Scholarships
The Working Student Scholarship was created to provide support to Mathematics students who must work to support their basic necessities (rent, food, etc) as they go to college. The intention of this scholarship is to help alleviate the burden that working students face and to replace time spent working so that students may be free to spend less time at work and more time studying.
To qualify, you must be a current undergraduate mathematics major, you must work an average of (10+) hours a week to cover your basic needs, have financial need, and you must be declared in Mathematics.
This scholarship is not intended to supplement a student's financial aid package, and we cannot award funds beyond what a student's aid package allows.
Scholarship amounts vary and may range from $2k to $10k.
