Wilderness First Aid Training @ Mulford Hall Courtyard ($70)
This 8 hour course taught by Sierra Rescue is fast-paced and valuable as initial training for outdoor settings or as a refresher to practice your skills. EH&S hosts this course for UC field researchers and field course instructors. Space is limited. 132 Mulford will be used if it rains. Time: 8:30 am-5 pm. Dress warmly and bring water, snacks, and a lunch.

Impact Bay Area Self-Defense (Free)
Please indicate below if you are interested in other training, such as Impact Bay Area self defense training sponsored by the GenEq Resource Center on campus. This 3-hour class lays a foundation of skills including intuition, situational awareness, body language and voice proven effective at increasing safety and confidence. Participants practice de-escalating dangerous situations, and get the unique and powerful experience of practicing physical techniques.
