The following is a list of responsibilities agreed upon for the use of Valparaiso Baptist Church's facility.

Upon leaving, all garbage must be removed. The dumpster is located at the front of the church entryway.
Clean all floors by sweeping, vacuuming, and/or mopping where needed.
Reset any tables, chairs, etc. that were moved to their original position. Take a reference photo before moving anything.
Reset the thermostat to 75 in summer or 65 in winter.
Access to use the all-purpose area does NOT mean access to the sanctuary area or education wing, nor anything in it.
Any moving of the furniture needs to be approved in advance.
Valparaiso Baptist does not support using controlled substances (drugs, alcohol, tobacco). Therefore no alcohol or substance use will be permitted on the property. Likewise, this is a smoke/vape-free facility; please respect our grounds by refraining from these activities.
The use of foul language is not permitted on our property.
There is zero tolerance for verbal or physical violence. Any infraction will void your organization from future use.
No decorations can be hung without prior approval from the church. Helium balloons, glitter, and/or animals inside are prohibited.
All activities must be under competent adult supervision. The adult supervisor is responsible for the safety and security of the event and the facility. Church officials reserve the right to determine the adequacy of such supervision and to immediately cancel any activity or function determined to not be adequately supervised.
By signing this agreement, you waive Valparaiso Baptist Church from any/all liability regarding your event. Also, you are confirming you have adequate personal injury and liability insurance to cover an accident during your event. Proof of insurance must be furnished prior to the event.
By signing this agreement, you hereby hold harmless and indemnify Valparaiso Baptist Church from any claim of damage resulting from the user's use of the premises. This includes any claim by the user, user's guests, invitees, licensees, clients, agents, or representatives for negligence.
