We (Melissa Nolas and Christos Varvantakis) will initiate a Network for Multimodal Ethnography as part of the European Association of Social Anthropologists. This initiative comes in response to a growing interest in multimodality within anthropology, which we have seen in our capacity as editors of the journal entanglements, as well as panel organisers for the latest EASA conference. With this form we aim to collect expressions of interest from scholars/artists/practitioners who would be interested to be part of/engaged into this network. Please note that one doesn't have to be a member of EASA in order to participate in the network.
We hope to submit the application for the network in late 2020.
