Examples of Current & Past Student Council Activities:
* Spirit Weeks (Creates posters/flyers encouraging holiday themed attire for: Homecoming/Halloween, Wacky Winter Week, Spring Break)
* Collaborating with Green Tech to fund and build picnic tables to increase our outside seating areas
* Virtual Movie and Game Nights during this school year with In-Person Movies Nights to come once we can do it safely
* Building fun Escape Rooms and/or Virtual Board Games before each Spirit Week
* Canned Food Drive between Thanksgiving and Winter Break all food received is delivered to the Central Texas Food Bank
* Painting inspirational words on each column in the academic hallways
* Repainting the fire lanes so that traffic can clearly see where parking is prohibited
* Writing thank you notes to friends, family, and teachers
* Campus Clean Up: The Student Council stays after school to help take out trash and recycling before each holiday weekend and sweeps up after dances to show appreciation for our custodial staff.
* Decoration crew for the Valentines Dance
* Attends the AISD Student Council Summit
* Participation in Academic UIL
* No Place For Hate Coalition for our campus

Running the concession stand during the Valentines Dance
"Kid Wash" booth at Splash Fest
Fill The Bin: Green clothing recycling bin near the front door

Officers and Representatives will be expected to:
1. Take your job seriously.
2. Do your best to attend all Student Council meetings and events.
3. Be prompt and aware of all meeting and event times.
4. Stay with the program until the end of the year.
5. Be a positive and respectful role model in the classroom and in our community.
6. Keep at least a 3.0 GPA. This means you must maintain at least B average in all of your classes each nine weeks.
