This is part 1 of the Adult Volunteer and Intern Training.  You need to watch this training video and pass the following quiz in order to sign up for part 2  (tour of our facility for on-site volunteers and interns).

*Note: if you are a returning volunteer or only helping online, you will not need a facility tour.

Please be aware that if you continue this training, you are intending to volunteer on a regular basis (not one-time only or inconsistently).  If you only want to do a one-time project, please reach out to Nora Codina at nora@pomonahope.org to work out possible one-time opportunities.

The process to come on as a regular adult volunteer is as follows:
1. Complete the training video
2. Complete the quiz after the training video.  If you get 100%, you will then get to fill out a contact information form.
3. Submit the contact information form.
4. If you are a new on-site volunteer or intern you will need to complete a tour of the facility. The Outreach Director will email you to arrange a convenient date and time for the tour (part 2 of the training).    
5. Come to the facility tour at the agreed upon time (about 30-45 minutes)
6. Complete and Pass a Live scan fingerprinting process (forms can be downloaded from our website - Average cost is $45)
7. Once you have completed 6, we can usually get you into the system to start volunteering by the next day.
