If Your restaurant currently holds a valid license with the City of New Haven:
Provide business name and upload government-issued ID
To serve food at this event each vendor must either be licensed with our office as a 2023-2024 Itinerant Vendor or Caterer, or they will need to complete and pay for a Temp Food Service License Application thru the citysquared.com website (I have attached a guide on how to apply for this type of license here). The cost for the Temp Food Service License is $80.00 for the day.
As a reminder, all food must either be purchased from a licensed commercial or retail supplier, cooked on site, or cooked at a licensed food service facility. Food purchased ahead of time must have a receipt from the establishment it was purchased from (this receipt must be kept onsite during the event). Foods cooked at a licensed facility must have a copy of that facility's current food service license and a copy of a recent health department inspection.
All donations are non-refundable and due at the time of application submission.
Your donation includes the marketing of your business in association with the event leading up to the festival, booth space and chairs for staff only.
