To apply for the IB Diploma Programme at II. gimnazija Maribor, follow the steps:

1. Online Application

   • Complete and submit this online application form.
   • Once the application form is submitted an email with the filled-in form will be send to your e-mail address.
   • Retrieve the form from your email (check spam/updates if not in inbox).
   • Print the form from your email (look for a print icon, usually in the top right corner).

2. Documentation and Signature

   • Sign the printed form with your parents.
   • Gather the following documents.
     • Signed application form.
     • Photocopy of 1st year's final certificate and an official English translation (only if the document was not issued in Slovenia or in any English speaking country).
     • Second year's midterm grade report and and official English translation (only if the document was not issued in Slovenia or in any English speaking country).
     • Filled in, signed and stamped forms of participation in extra-curricular activities. This includes all activities the student engages in at school or through external organizations or clubs during the current academic year. We consider a maximum of 5 school lessons (45 minutes lessons) for one activity and a maximum 20 school lessons (45 minutes lessons) for all activities. 
       
     • Photocopies of certificates of achievements in knowledge competitions, music competitions or research work. Achievements which count are participation in an international knowledge Olympiad, gold or silver awards in a national knowledge competition, gold or silver awards in a national music competition, gold and silver awards in a national or regional research paper competition. Only achievement in school year 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 count.
       
     • Photocopy of your passport or ID card (for EU applicants).

3. Submission by Mail

   • Place all documents in an envelope.
   • Write “IB2024” clearly on the envelope.
   • Send the envelope as a registered shipment to:

   • The deadline to sent the documents is March 11th, 2024.
