Now, we will come to who we are, why this form, why this festival, how is it different and what have we planned for you this season.
WHO ARE WE?
We are a small yet valued, far yet penetrated into hearts of millions and a sustainable yet modern music and art festival retreat.
WE are BIR MUSIC FESTIVAL - a music festival of the nation from village Bir by a mother who lives in Bir. So first, if you are filling this form, pat your back because you will join hands with the only woman entrepreneur in this industry.
We started in 2020 when the pandemic hit tourism, art and hospitality industry and this IP was basically curated to save these three to whatever capacity possible. It will amaze you that in the first season itself, the festival funded the annual rents of 5 hotels in Bir, gave multiple shows to 7 new emerging original musicians and got tourism to a village which was deprived of it for months.
Since then we did not look back. Our aim is to make Bir a popular place to visit for all and give stage to emerging musicians who make their own music.
We feel proud to have hosted over 450 original artists on the stage in past 11 seasons.
WHY ONLY ORIGINAL MUSIC?
Because you deserve it. Why do people have to know you as one of the good singers at a party, club or wedding when they were eating food? Are you not sure you next song is the next hit on Spotify? Even if you are not, we are sure!
It is easy to praise what the world praises but tough to support the one who is on the voyage of rocking the world.
Yes, we have our own challenges but we have learnt to battle them. And we know a great music needs great audience so we only have original music on our stage. No covers!
WHY THIS FORM?
Because you have started loving us a lot! Honestly, we started this because after first couple of seasons, it became tough for us to compare artists and invite them to the festival. We streamlined it to these forms and asked a small jury to select because only people who know music can judge it. To this the response shot up/1 season 6 we received 580 registrations, season 7 - 700+ and season 11- 920. So we do not mean to judge you or disrespect you but it is streamlining and unbiased process.
WHAT DO WE HAVE FOR YOU THIS SEASON?
Yes, you are aware that we cannot fill heavy pockets. It is not easy to have a good audience for a new music and so our focus is on headliners who can get and audience for all and collaborate with some of you to make a bang on impact too!
But this season, we have added a blasting value to your music and fame!
HOW?
This season will have 25 slots of musicians on stage in two days.From this, we will finalise 6 original songs to be produced under the banner of BIR MUSIC STUDIO- the first ever Pahadi Digital Studio. This will happen immediately after the festival to give a better impact and we ensure the release of it with 20 days of the festival.
WHAT IS BIR MUSIC STUDIO?
A digital studio from the mountains for the world! Popularity is what a new music needs and we have pledged to get that to each deserving one. This digital IP is going to air 6 new original songs recorded in the mountains and produced the pahadi way! We will present a great music to a bigger, greater audience. This will be our gift to you.

To register, please fill the forms diligently. The forms will be live for 30 days post which we will take 30 days to screen and get back to you.
This is not a paid gig. We try to support each artist to the best of our capabilities but if you feel it is not respectable to you, please do not fill the form.
The festival dates are 14&15 June.
Your performance can be on either of the dates on any of the stages. This is the team's decision.
