Spiders Against Bias Application
The Spiders Against Bias is a confidential group of UR student responders passionate about supporting their peers during bias incidents that occur on campus. These student responders can also provide and explain the available options for the student(s) impacted by bias. Student responders will be comprehensively trained by the Student Center for Equity and Inclusion (SCEI) and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) in order to fully support and validate their peers. Responders must apply, interview, and complete substantial training before serving. Contact information is confidential.

The application is due on October 31st and we will be reviewing the applications as they come in. We plan on holding interviews on November 4th and 5th. Please expect a quick follow up from us shortly after placing your application.

Thank you for your interest in applying for Spiders Against Bias! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Arju Patel (arju.patel@richmond.edu), Penny Hu (penny.hu@richmond.edu), and Lisa Miles of SCEI, and/or Tiffany Abdullah of CAPS.
