Padres Comprometidos is a parent engagement program whose primary goal is the fostering of a strong connection between schools and parents.  Parents will acquire the skills they need to effectively engage with schools and play a leading role in preparing their children for college. It also addresses language and culture as assets–rather than obstacles–upon which skills, confidence and ultimately empowerment are built.

Padres Comprometidos es un programa de participación de padres cuyo objetivo principal es fomentar una fuerte conexión entre las escuelas y los padres. Los padres adquirirán las habilidades que necesitan para involucrarse efectivamente con las escuelas y jugar un papel de liderazgo en la preparación de sus hijos para la universidad. También aborda el idioma y la cultura como beneficios, en lugar de obstáculos, sobre los cuales se construyen las habilidades, la confianza y en última instancia el empoderamiento.

Please complete the following form if you are interested in participating in the 10 sessions offered every Tuesday from March 8th through May 3rd 2022 at Washington Elementary from 6 pm to 8 pm.
