Emerge is a creative space for classical dancers to inquire, explore and share creative dance practice and processes. Led by Bharatanatyam dancer-musician Divya Nayar, Emerge is a 3-day dance experience culminating in an ensemble performance of the composition explored.
Choreographer's Note: Does inspiration take its route from the inside out or the other way? How does one write about the experience of ceasing to exist when inspiration strikes you out of your senses? Explore with me to see if we need help, or are found!
Open to dancers with a minimum of 10 years of practice and performance. Professional dancers from all genres are welcome.
Limited seating. Process-driven workshop.
Attendance of all sessions is mandatory to participate in culminating performance.
