New Mexico Entertainment Awards - Nomination Form - Round 2
The voting process for The New Mexico Entertainment Awards is now open! The New Mexico Entertainment Magazine Awards is an annual event that recognizes and celebrates individuals, businesses, and organizations who contribute to the vibrant events and entertainment scene in New Mexico. This formal gala honors winners in various categories, including events, live entertainment, film, radio, music, comedy, arts, books, and nightlife. Our objective is to spotlight the talented individuals and groups within our state who consistently deliver high-quality entertainment and events for the community.

Our Top 20 will be voted on from April 22nd, 2024 until May 24th, 2024. After our panel reviews the nominees' work and community votes, the Top Five in each category will be chosen and announced publicly on June 3rd, 2024, with the winners being awarded at our Awards Gala on July 6th, 2024.

Criteria for nominations:
  • Voting will cover work throughout January 2023 - December 2023
  • Nominee(s) should reside or do business in New Mexico. If a band or performance group is being nominated, up to 50% of the members should live in New Mexico
  • The nominee must entertain the New Mexican public consistently - up to 60% of the calendar year (roughly ten local performances a year).
  • Performers/Actors/Musicians must be able to provide recent work of their performances (flyers, video, etc.)
  • Nominee(s) should have a current social media presence focusing on their nominated craft.
  • A positive attitude and respect towards the people they work with, their peers, and their guests/attendees.
  • The nominee is about entertaining the audience/patrons, not themselves.
