Inspirez-vous des expositions en cours pour créer une carte-souvenirs. La cartographie de souvenirs (memory map) est un processus intemporel et non-linéaire basé dans les souvenirs d’un lieu ou d’un être bien-aimé.
Amenez des photos et/ou photocopies du lieu ou de la personne en question pour inspirer l’œuvre ainsi que votre stylo préféré. Tout autre matériel sera fourni.
Cet atelier sera animé par Renée Saurette, art thérapeute travaillant à Winnipeg. Elle détient une maîtrise en art thérapie de l'Université Concordia à Montréal. Renée utilise l'expression créative en plus de la thérapie par la parole pour recueillir des informations sur ses clients, pour les aider à acquérir de nouvelles perspectives sur un problème et pour responsabiliser les clients dans leur croissance et leur introspection.
À propos de l'art-thérapie
L'art-thérapie combine le processus créatif et la psychothérapie, facilitant l'exploration de soi et la compréhension. En utilisant l'imagerie, la couleur et la forme dans le cadre de ce processus thérapeutique créatif, des pensées et des sentiments peuvent être exprimés qui seraient autrement difficiles à articuler.

Let yourself be inspired by the current art installation in the gallery to create your own Memory Map of a special time place or person. Memory maps are influenced by our emotional and sensory landscapes rather than anchored in linear time.
Bring along photos and/or photocopies of your memory to be used within your art piece. You are welcome to also bring your favourite pen or marker; all other materials will be supplied.
This workshop will be hosted by art therapist Renée Saurette. She holds a Master's Degree in Creative Arts Therapies from Concordia University in Montreal. Renée uses creative expression in addition to talk therapy to gather information about her clients, to support clients in gaining new perspectives on an issue and to empower clients in their growth and introspection.
About Art Therapy
Art therapy combines the creative process and psychotherapy, facilitating self-exploration and understanding. Using imagery, colour and shape as part of this creative therapeutic process, thoughts and feelings can be expressed that would otherwise be difficult to articulate.
