SLAASC - Incoming Immigrants Questionare

Dear Future Member of the Sri Lankan American Community,

Warm greetings from the Sri Lanka America Association of Southern California (SLAASC). We trust this message finds you filled with anticipation for your upcoming journey to the United States.

The prospect of moving to a new country indeed carries its own set of challenges. However, please remember that you are not alone on this journey. To better serve you, we have designed a questionnaire that aims to understand your needs and expectations. By filling out this questionnaire, you will provide us with valuable information that could enable us to connect you with potential resources, volunteer groups, and individuals who may be able to offer guidance during your transition.

While SLAASC is based in Southern California, our reach extends beyond our immediate locale. Depending on your intended destination within the US, we can attempt to connect you with helpful resources and Sri Lankan community groups throughout the country.

While we may not be able to assist directly with every aspect of your move, our goal is to serve as an informational resource for you. We believe in the power of unity, support, and fellowship, and it's in this spirit that we hope to provide meaningful connections during your transition.

We strongly encourage you to fill out this questionnaire. Your participation will help us to better understand your needs and work towards connecting you with suitable resources.

Remember, SLAASC is more than just an association; it's a community that cherishes our shared Sri Lankan heritage. Regardless of where you choose to settle in the US, you are a part of this community.
