Chicago Black Social Culture Map | Community Archiving Day
WHO ARE WE? HOW STRONG ARE OUR NARRATIVES? TELL YOUR STORIES.

BRING your cultural materials, receive an assessment, and have your items scanned or copied. In an effort to collect and share knowledge on Chicago’s Black Social Culture both past and present, we are hosting an all-day citywide preservation and archiving day with panel conversations and presentations.

The Chicago Black Social Culture Map is a joint initiative of Honey Pot Performance, Modern Dance Music Research & Archiving Foundation, Actively Archiving, and a team of local cultural historians and producers.
