Dear Montana Educators,
You are welcome to join the Montana World Affairs Council’s 2021 Academic WorldQuest program. Academic WorldQuest is is a four-day virtual international affairs event that provides students with the opportunity to engage with global experts including Ambassadors, international thought leaders, policy experts and practitioners covering a wide range of topics such as Montana’s role in the global economy, global conservation efforts, and current events. Participating students “meet” face-to-face with students from around the world as each year we host a “Student to Student Global Conversation.” Using interactive web-based technology, Montanans have met with Congolese, Japanese and Honduran students in live video chats. The event concludes with the knowledge competition, a global “trivia” team challenge, which tests students’ knowledge of global issues. Note also OPI credits are also available to teachers. All grades are able to join the programs. Only high school students can participate in the competition on March 4th. All events are completely free. If you have any questions, please write to:
