Inclusive and Accessible Employment Series 2022
The Museum, Arts and Culture Access Consortium (MAC)'s Supporting Transition project is hosting a series on Inclusive and Accessible Employment for Cultural Organizations through the month of June. This series was presented last year and will return in a revised format for cultural organizations to build a new way of approaching cultural employment, one where disability is valued.
The virtual series will consist of four workshops for employees at cultural organizations who wish to examine their employment practices to be anti-ableist, accessible, and inclusive.

Opening Panel: Confronting Ableism in Cultural Employment
A video of a recorded panel will be sent to attendees.

Session 1: Rethinking Employment Structures
June 8, 2022, 4-5pm ET

Session 2: Tools for Inclusive Practices Part 1
June 15, 2022, 4-5pm ET

Session 3: Tools for Inclusive Practices Part 2
June 22, 2022, 4-5pm ET

Session 4: Re-imagining Employment
June 29, 2022, 4-5pm ET

While the Supporting Transitions project focuses on creating opportunities for adults with autism and other developmental and intellectual disabilities, we believe in cross-disability solidarity and a cohesive, collaborative disability community.

All sessions will take place on zoom. All parts of the series will be captioned and ASL interpretation will be provided. Please indicate any access needs below. An access guide will be sent out prior to the event and there will be a staff member available for access support.
