CONTENT
Mental Health is the latest dimension in the Diversity & Inclusion space. It affects many groups regardless of age, race, gender, education or socio-economic status in and out of the workplace.

As legal professionals we may suddenly be faced with an employee displaying symptoms and/or behaviors that may signal help is needed. For many it is a struggle not knowing whom to turn to. They have a fear of losing employment and being associated with the stigma of mental illness. Let’s talk about Mental Health and how to help our employees, friends and family members.

In this session you will learn how to:

1 – Define and distinguish mental disorders;
2 – Recognize signs of a mental health crisis;
3 – Best handle mental issues in the workplace;
4 – Provide support and resources;
5 – Discuss accommodations and insurance.
