2023-24 Wooster PTO Officer Nominations
Please nominate individuals that would be a leader at Wooster Elementary with PTO Officer positions- President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Reporter, and Grade Level Representatives.  The questions below are not all required but please fill in as many as possible. This survey will be due by May 14th and then we will do a voting ballet following acceptance of nominations.  We will work together to support and make improvements at Wooster Elementary.

President
The president of the organization shall be responsible for conducting all executive board and general meetings.  The president shall serve as an adviser to the principal and other officers and to persons who could hold nay office for next year.  
Vice President
The vice president shall conduct board and general meetings in the absence of the president, as well as serve as program chairperson and organize the membership drive.  This includes collecting membership money, keeping record of all members, and turning in membership money to the treasurer.  The vice president shall also be responsible for doing a monthly balance of the checkbook after the treasurer has received the bank statement and reconciled it.  Once this is done, he/she will sign off on the balance sheet for the treasurer so he/she can copy their report for the monthly meeting.
Secretary
The secretary shall record and report the minutes of board and membership meets, make telephone calls to the other officers to relay information, and be responsible for all correspondence.
Treasurer
The treasurer shall be responsible for the collection of all dues and payments and the authorization and disbursement of any organizational funds to be reported on at each meeting.  The treasurer shall co-chair, with the vice president, the membership drive and help with collection of dues.  The treasurer shall balance the checkbook monthly and turn it over to the vice president for verification before making copies of the monthly report.  The treasurer is also responsible for making sure the PTO does not cut in to the $2,000 balance needed to start the next school year.
