Certificate in Creative Placemaking Scholarship Application 2022.  Deadline: July 20
This form is used to request a scholarship for the Certificate in Creative Placemaking program.  It is only for people who have applied and have been accepted into the Certificate program.  If you have not applied yet, please do so at:  https://tinyurl.com/38ehyknm

There is a limited amount of funding for scholarships, applicants in one or more of the following categories are most likely to be awarded:  Scholarships applications are accepted on a rolling basis.  The process is competitive, so we urge you to submit your application as soon as possible.

*Have a FINANCIAL HARDSHIP (such as being unemployed), or
*Are affiliated with a MICRO-ORGANIZATION (a business or nonprofit organization with fewer than 10 employees), or
*Are affiliated with an organization or government agency that primarily serves LOW-INCOME or MARGINALIZED communities, or
*Would add to the DIVERSITY of knowledge in the Certificate program.  (NOTE:  For our purposes "diversity" can mean being different from other applicants based on your ethnicity, culture, where you live, what you do, what distinct experiences you have, etc.), or
*Are involved in PUBLIC ART, SOCIAL PRACTICE ART, OR CIVIC PRACTICE ART or,
*Work or practice in an UNDER-REPRESENTED FIELD in the program:  ex. body art (hair, makeup, tattoo, etc.), civil engineering, culinary arts, environmental, filmmaking, financial management, grantmaking, law or professional sports

Scholarships average $1,000. Larger scholarships are likely to be awarded to those fitting multiple of the above categories. Please understand that the scholarships come from a shared and limited pool of funding.  The more that you get, the less there is for other applicants.
