ABOUT THE GROUP:
Backstory:
This whole idea started when it seemed like every YA Fantasy book I picked up started having spice in them. When I tried to find lists of "no spice" / "clean" fantasy books online, there wasn't much I found and most lists had the same books listed or the lists felt outdated. I also started seeing more readers and authors of "no spice" fantasy trying to connect on social media, but there wasn't a place for long-term connection to make friends, network, and continually find new recs. Thus, the idea of creating my own community (and possible book directory!) started bubbling up until I couldn't take it anymore. I had to do it!

What will you find in the Community? ...

If you're a Reader:
You will have access to reader discussion channels where you can connect with other readers, make friends, and share book recommendations (or ask if anyone know of a "no spice" fantasy with specific elements you enjoy!). 

If you’re a Writer / Author:
You will also get access to a private discussion channel where you can connect with like-minded writers to network, support, collaborate, and share marketing tips. You'll also be able to easily connect with readers who are looking for books like yours in the Reader discussion channel (though there will be rules / specific opportunities where you can share about your book so the group is not constant promo).

Both readers and writers:
You'll also get to help me (Brittany) brainstorm how a "No Spice" YA Fantasy Directory of books I’m working on will look and function!

This will all take place in a Discord Group!
