Research Poster and Platform Session Submission Form SCGC 2024
Thank you for your interest in presenting a brief summary of your thesis/capstone or other research project during the poster and platform session at SCGC’s Annual Education Conference (AEC), which will be held in the the City of Industry, CA on Friday May 3rd.

The purpose of this session is for genetic counseling students and genetic counselors to share their work with the audience. Eligible research projects are capstone/thesis projects or other research projects involving genetic counselors that are being conducted in the Southern California area. Your project does not need to be completed in order to be eligible, however, it cannot have been previously presented at a conference. Finally, you must attend the conference in Costa Mesa to answer questions about your research.

Please fill out the form below, including a short description of your project. 

Approved projects will be displayed during the poster session and compiled into a list that will be distributed to all AEC attendees.  A select few proposals may be selected for a platform presentation at the conference. Please note that this survey will remain open until the posted deadline OR if a maximum number of responses are received, whichever comes first.

Proposal deadline: Feb 21, 2024, or once maximum number of responses received
Notification of Approval: February 28, 2024
