APS Friday Lunch Seminar (APSFLS)
The Astrophysical & Planetary Sciences Friday Lunch Seminar (APSFLS) is a community building opportunity for members of the APS Department and related research organizations. The main goal of the seminar series is to provide an opportunity for junior scientists to speak about their scientific work. The seminar series will also provide an opportunity for members of our community to informally socialize, network, and build collaborative relationships. While the primary focus of the lunch seminar is on scientific research, we welcome discussion of diversity, equity, inclusion topics related to conducting work in our scientific field, if the speaker wishes.

Talks are primarily held in-person, but there is an option to speak via Zoom.
For in-person presenters, travel funds may be available upon request.

Please fill out this form if you would like to present such a talk at CU in the 2023-2024 academic year, or to nominate someone else to be invited as a speaker. We particularly encourage nominations for speakers from historically excluded groups.
