DARYEEL CIMILADA – BECOME A CLIMATE AMBASSADOR
Encouraging youth to learn about Climate disparities and solutions in their communities as they become climate ambassadors
In this Cohort we are looking for 10 young adults (18-24) who are interested in the climate field, equity and environmental justice to learn about how Climate outcomes affect the minority communities from our diverse experts in the Climate care field. The Climate ambassadors will learn:
• The Relationship between Climate Change, Zero Waste Action and environmental justice.
• Youth in this cohort will learn about Climate Change and who it is impacting the most.
• Youth will get to understand the causes of the Climate change and the solutions.
• How to facilitate community conversations and be a climate ambassador in your community.
Daryeel Cimilada Youth Cohort benefits:
• Unique Climate Classes ( 6pm – 8pm every week)
• $50 Stipend upon completion
• Certificate of completion
• Dinner (If it is in person)
• Networking with diverse youth and community leaders
• Build Climate care advocacy knowledge & vocabulary
• The opportunity to show extracurricular activity for higher education or future employment
• Be recognized in our monthly newsletters as you become climate Ambassador. Facilitate community conversations.
