EAA Chapter 66 Education Outreach
Before the craziness of Covid-19, EAA Chapter 66 members were in the process of developing an expanded program for Young Eagles ages 11-17 looking to learn more about aviation.
A common question we receive after a Young Eagles first flight is "What's next?" Many of our Young Eagles are several years away from soloing and may not be able to financially take lessons but are still interested in aviation. Flight simulator training, ground school classes, aircraft building and maintenance, field trips, mentor-ship, scholarship research and creating a strong aviation-based community for our Young Eagles are some of the main areas we would like to highlight.
We are looking for feedback from our Young Eagles and potential new Young Eagles who are interested in aviation and what areas they might be interested in. We understand every family has a different situation. As with all programs at this time, social distancing, limited numbers, masks and other CDC and EAA approved guidelines for meetings would be implemented.
Please take a few minutes to fill out this Young Eagles interest form. We are looking forward to resuming Young Eagle flights in the near future.
Thank you!
