Description:
Never tried “Quilt as you Go” before? Then this is the class for you! Come and spend an
informative afternoon learning 3 different styles of the Quilt as you Go technique. I will have
various samples of each technique for you to examine. You’ll be able to try one technique on a
June Taylor Jakarta placement/table topper. I will also demonstrate different ways to join the
Quilt as you Go blocks to make a quilt. This is an afternoon you don’t want to miss!
Requirements:
● Basic quilting skills
● Able to use a walking foot
● Sewing machine knowledge
Supplies:
● Sewing machine
● Walking foot
● General sewing supplies
● Fabric starch (your favorite)
● 505 Basting Spray
● June Taylor pre-printed batting (provided by instructor)
● Variety of 21/2” fabric strips at least 13” long, at least 12-20 pieces . Left over jelly roll
strips will be perfect for this project. You will only be using 12 pieces, but it's nice to
have choices for placement
● Backing: 14” x 19”
● Binding: 68” of 21/2” strips
● Thread to match
