August 2023 Troop Campout - Canoeing Merit Badge

Description: Our August troop campout will be the canoeing merit badge! We'll be at BSA Camp James Ray on Lake Texoma. In order to participate, you must have completed the BSA swim test as a swimmer. In order to earn the merit badge, you must also finish the swimming merit badge. 

Be sure to bring water shoes and clothes that can get wet (swimsuit with coverup or shorts and tshirt). You will be in deep water scrambling back into a canoe, so don't wear anything that gets heavy when wet!
