Board of Directors Application
Founded in 1989, the Maryland Student Legislature is an intercollegiate organization that prepares students for lives of public service through a model legislature, speaker series, networking events, and other activities. MSL student learn to write legislation, develop public speaking skills, and build a network of politically active young people from across the state.
The Maryland Student Legislature, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. We are always looking for energetic, talented individuals to join our Board. Directors play an important role in support MSL's students, helping them to organize events in Annapolis and around the state, and providing mentorship, guidance, and support. We encourage anyone with an interest in supporting the next generation of Maryland leaders to apply.
Directors serve for two-year terms. New Directors are subject to a probationary term of one year.
The Board considers applications for membership each year at our annual meeting in March. Selected applicants will receive an invitation to interview at the meeting.
