Somerset FA Club Maintenance Funding
Somerset FA are inviting clubs from all around the County to submit an application form which could give them the opportunity to apply for materials or equipment to help improve their facilities. Clubs can access up to £350 through this fund.
Funding can potentially be provided for items such as:

- Paint for re-decoration of club house/changing rooms etc.
- Replacement goal nets (if you are applying for this funding, please visit www.networldsports.co.uk for discounted rates).
- Line marker (if you are applying for this funding &/or pitch paint please visit www.thepitchmarkgroup.com for discounted rates).
- Improve dug outs.
- Tea hut refurbishment.
- Improvements to clubhouse/changing room including lighting, boiler work etc (if you are applying for this funding, please visit  www.unitaryengineering.co.uk for discounted rates).
- Maintenance on ground.
- Kitchen refurbishment (this would not include the purchase of individual appliances, eg: a fridge, air fryer etc).
- Providing safety measures to club facility.

In some cases applicants may be signposted to other funding streams available, if they are eligible, due to the limited applications that we can support.

ELIGIBILITY

- All applications must be submitted by the club secretary.
- The funding is only open to clubs at Regional Feeder League (Old step 7/County League) and below that are part of Somerset FA.
- The club must be England Football Accredited or obtain the accreditation before claiming any funding. 
- Only clubs that have not already received funding through this scheme during the 2022/23 season are eligible to apply.
- The club applying must have security of tenure on the ground or facilities.
- All work must be completed within 6 weeks of receiving the grant.
- Labour costs cannot be covered by the funding.
- A club may apply for up to £350.00.
- Somerset FA are unable to retrospectively fund projects that have already been completed.
- The club must ensure there are no outstanding debts to Somerset FA.

- Club discipline will be looked at when decisions are made around funding. This includes players, coaches and spectators.
ANY MONIES AWARDED WILL BE RECALLED IF A TEAM ARE FOUND GUILTY OF ANY E20 OR E21 DISCIPLINARY CHARGES DURING THE 24/25 SEASON (E20 & E21 RELATE TO COACH AND SPECTATOR DISCIPLINE).
