Student Health Advisory Council, or SHAC, is a team composed of Parents, CISD Staff, and Community Members. SHAC assists the District in ensuring that local community values are reflected in the District's Health, Safety, and Family Services policies and programs: and plays a role in strengthening the connection between overall health, safety, and well-being to positive academic outcomes.
