Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for a job, regulatory, or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. After completion of the Heartsaver course, the student will receive a course completion card that is valid for 2 years.
The Heartsaver CPR AED course trains participants to give CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This class
DOES NOT cover First Aid and is not a Healthcare Provider class. If you need a class for nursing, medical assisting, EMT, or something similar, this class will not be sufficient.
You will receive an email about a week before the scheduled class with directions to the classroom and class details. If you sign up for the class please make every effort to attend. If you cannot attend for any reason, please email Kelly.Olney@DignityHealth.org as soon as possible.
