Thank you for your interest in the DataCite Board. Individuals from DataCite member organisations are eligible to apply. Please complete the form below if you wish to stand in the 2022 Board Elections. Applications are due by March 4, 2022.

In following our member-supported principles of equity and diversity and to fill identified diversity gaps on the DataCite Board, the election committee is encouraging representation from Africa, Asia and LATAM. In addition, the committee expressly invites individuals that represent smaller organisations, are non-native English speakers and represent diverse perspectives in the community to apply. Specifically visible minorities and/or historically disadvantaged individuals are encouraged to apply. Board members are elected for two year terms.

The DataCite Board meets on approximately eight occasions each year and the meetings are 1-3 hours in duration. Currently all Board meetings are held virtually, although in the future we hope to have one to two meetings annually in-person, co-located with a community event.
