It has been almost 5 years since we started the work to create our current district strategic plan. At that time, we listened and learned from our community, businesses and agencies, parents, staff, and students. We engaged in over 14 focus group conversations and collected surveys from hundreds of people. A district committee reviewed the information collected and developed: mission and vision statements, a tagline, and shared values that were expressed through all the feedback we reviewed. Additionally, the committee acknowledged three overarching goals from our engagement: 1. Ensure all students are ready to learn 2. Foster increased academic success 3. Develop engaged life-long learners
