Quota Club of Grand Rapids: Teacher Mini-Grant Application
Quota Club of Grand Rapids offers mini-grants in alignment with our mission to support education, access, and social connections for individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH) in West Michigan. This grant is open to teachers (or teacher consultants) whose primary role is teaching students in West Michigan who are DHH. Applicants can request up to $250 for materials or field trips that will advance their students' access to education, communication, or social connections.

Applications are due by May 10, 2024.
Requirements:
  • Applicants must be teachers (or teacher consultants) for students who are DHH (ages birth to 26).
  • Applications will include a description of the project, a list of estimated costs, and how/when funds will be used.
  • Applicants must include the name and phone/email of their supervisor. (Quota GR contacts finalists' supervisors to verify two aspects of applications: approval of project and applicant's role).
  • Grant award winners will be notified by May 17, 2024.
  • Funds will be disbursed via check by May 24, 2024.
  • Grant award winners agree to submit a summary along with a photograph of their project (with or without students in the photo) to be used on the Quota Club of Grand Rapids webpage and/or our Facebook page. Summaries and photos are due by October 1, 2024.
Note: Quota Club of Grand Rapids awards funding to projects that best align with our mission. A limited amount of funding is available for up to four mini-grant award winners. If your request is not awarded, you will be notified by May 17, 2024 and we encourage you to re-apply next year.
