Hello Blue Valley Community! We are conducting this survey to gain a better perspective of how our community would like us to use the funds provided by the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief III (ESSER III) under the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021, Public Law 117-2, enacted on March 11, 2021.

The purpose of ESSER III funds is to address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on students by mitigating learning losses, supporting social-emotional needs, and ensuring safe in-person learning for students. It is also meant to support staff with social-emotional needs along with recruitment and retention of highly qualified staff.

The application process is a lengthy process and is being completed as you are reading this. Once all the input is received and reviewed, we will submit the application for ESSER III funds to the Kansas Department of Education for review and approval.
