Legislative Survey
The Iowa Foundation for Parks and Recreation and the Iowa Park & Recreation Association are working with Capitol Connect. Capitol Connect proposes to organize and execute a public relations plan with the intent of gaining state government support for policy that protects, diversifies, and increases funding for local government parks and recreational resources. The effort will include lobbying state lawmakers, fundraising, and the creation of a state level political action committee.
As we approach the legislative session, it is important that we provide Capitol Connect with examples of how your department is being affected by the recent and upcoming budget changes.

With budget changes happening, we're aware it might affect our vendors and partners. We'd like to have them on board in this process, so if you could share their names and contact info, we can make sure they're part of the action. Their insights will be valuable as we navigate these changes together.
