This is the Ohio: Life, Death, and Rebirth of the Beautiful River. In this hour and 8 minute long film, filmmaker Morgan Atkinson travels the 981-mile river from Pittsburgh, PA, to Cairo, IL, revealing perspectives and looking at the river in a new and provocative way. This film is enlightening, educational, and very entertaining. Suitable for all ages.
Prior to the film, Kentucky Waterways Alliance and Kentucky Riverkeepers will give a brief overview of the Ohio River Restoration Plan, a bold initiative to restore and protect the waters of our region, and describe how local communities can contribute to its success.
