We are beginning the process of placing students in classes for the 2020-2021 school year. The Klem South team will work collaboratively to find the best fit for each of our students.  There are a number of factors that we consider, including: appropriate learning groups for literacy and math; balance of students in need of support services; a balanced ratio of males/females; the chemistry of the class- how the students will interact both socially and academically.

One final note on process:  Though we collaboratively work on lists, final decisions on placement are made by the administrative team. Classroom placements will be mailed home in August.

This quick form is a chance for you to share information about your child to help us make the best possible choices when determining class placement for next year.  We encourage you to fill out this form, rather than emailing us directly so we can keep our process as organized as possible.

Please avoid making specific teacher requests. Also, please note that if you discussed placement with your child's current teacher prior to the closing, that information may not be accessible with the building being closed.
