This year’s goal is to obtain a minimum of 150 families to participate!  This is the third annual challenge. We have had 104 unique families participate in the past two year (2019 and 2020).

You will be challenging against other families across Morrow County, Ohio who recycle. The goal is to have the family that has the highest overall diversion rate of pounds of recyclable material per number of individuals in the household diverted from the landfill. You will be rewarded for your efforts! There are prizes for the families who divert the highest amounts. You will use a reporting system to report your estimated amount of acceptable recyclable materials collected each week. It is up to the family-individual to responsibly complete the form to the fullest and honestly. You will NOT be changing the way you are currently recycling, other than maybe “cleaning up” your recycling by learning more about #RecycleRightMorrowCounty! There is also no weighing of material. You WILL report the volume.
