Digital Equity Survey for Parents and Guardians
The Rondout Valley CSD recognizes that students’ home access to devices and internet has become fundamental for continuous learning. To serve our students, families, and educators, it is extremely important to have an accurate understanding of students’ access to the internet as well as the type of devices they use for homework/home learning and school related instruction. To gather this information, New York State is requesting that all parents/guardians complete the quick survey for children (grades K-12). The survey consists of nine questions regarding the types of devices, internet access and whether the device was school or personally provided.

The survey has two parts. The first part consists of four questions that are answered once for your household. The second part consists of five questions specific to your child/children. If there are multiple K-12 children in your home, you will be prompted to submit responses for each child.  As stated above, we are required to collect this information for each student, as each student’s technology access may be different, even within the same household.
