Connecting Coaches to Communities™ is a new program to connect health coach graduates to community members, specifically public service professionals, who are ready to improve or enhance their health and wellness through the support of a trained health and wellness coach.

We are looking for people who would like to receive coaching while helping health coach graduates from San Diego Mesa College complete their board exam requirements. New health coach graduates need to accrue 50 coaching sessions (20-30 minutes each by voice or video) before taking the National Medical Board Exam to become a nationally certified health and wellness coach.

Health Coaching is a space to assess an area of a person’s life to improve, generate ideas, and implement those ideas while your coach offers gentle accountability, evidence-based skilled conversation, clinical interventions, and coach approach strategies.

Common health coaching topics include 1) improving stress management, 2) enhancing sleep quality, 3) incorporating fitness ideas, 4) enjoying healthier eating habits, 5) staying hydrated, 6) sustaining a positive mindset, and 7) reducing risk of chronic illness.

We will connect you within 2-3 business days with a free, trained health coach once the form is completed.

We are working on a Health Coach Graduate Directory so that you can choose your own coach. We will share it with you once it is ready. In the meantime, we will match you with the coach that best meets your preferences.
