About us
FRONTLINEdance is a Staffordshire-based dance company working with disabled and non-disabled dancers. We work to remove the barriers for people to perform and take part in dance. We focus on Performance, Health and Community and work with a wide range of ages, abilities, and settings. We have low representation from ethic diverse communities. To change this, FRONTLINEdance are working with consultants Isilda Almeida and Katie Dale-Everett. Katie Dale-Everett is an experienced freelance dance artist, working in choreography, facilitation and producing, engaging people with different life experiences. Isilda Almeida is an Inclusion consultant in arts and heritage. Isilda and Katie will be talking to local groups and running a survey to find out why communities from different ethnic backgrounds are underrepresented in FRONTLINEdance’s audiences and participants. The survey and conversations with groups will help create a plan of action to involve those communities.
