Explore how Poll Everywhere, a Student Response System (SRS) classroom technology, can bring live polling and interactive audience participation to create an active learning environment while assessing student learning and informing instruction. This interactive workshop examines various teaching strategies and methods to increase attendance, engagement, and learning. 

Video Creation with NYU Stream

Ready. Set. Action! Creating instructional videos can be used for a variety of purposes in order to facilitate learning through the visualization of knowledge. This workshop explores effective practices for developing and implementing instructor-created videos to maximize student engagement while delivering content using NYU Stream, NYU’s media sharing platform. 

Effective Course Site Design

In this comprehensive and interactive workshop, we will explore key course site components, focus on essential instructional practices, and acquire strategies for customizing an online supplement for a face-to-face course or completely designing an online course within NYU Brightspace.
