Faculty/Staff Advisor Agreement 
Thank you for your interest in advising one of HMSOM's student groups.  We appreciate your investment in our students and comment to their development.  
 
Student Group advisors work with the student leaders to discuss and plan activities and content, such as meetings, speakers, service projects, journal readings/discussions, etc.  

Each organization works with the Office of Student Affairs and Wellbeing (SAW) to plan events, budget details, etc, to ensure activities comply with all HMSOM policies.   

Policies and procedures for events and activities are all clearly communicated to the student leaders. It is important for Faculty/Staff Advisors to know the policies and procedures as well. We currently have a procedure document that student leaders have agreed to and signed once their organization is approved.

1. Guidance and direction for yearly action plans.  

2. Ensuring that the student group's events and meetings align with the school's mission and are focused on professional and personal growth.

3. Supporting your student leaders in their endeavors/goals/events and helping connect them with resources needed to execute events.
