Thank you for your interest in joining our mission trip to North Philadelphia with the Eighth Street Peacemakers. Who/What: Eighth Street PeaceMakers (ESPM) is a summer camp run by Eighth St Community Church for students in K-8th grade. ESPM runs from Monday to Friday, with our team responsible for one week of the program. Each day lasts for regular school hours. Mornings will be education sessions and afternoons will be recreational activities. The team will stay at the church for the duration of the trip. Training will be required. For more details, feel free to explore last year's ESPM schedule and staff manual.

When: July 7-13, 2024

Where: Hunting Park Recreation Center

Why: Our vision for this trip is to embody two of Renewal's core values in gospel spreading and gospel mercy & justice. We desire to be a vibrant gospel-spreading congregation that shares the gospel not only with our friends, family, and colleagues, but our neighboring communities in the greater Philadelphia area. We also seek to live out our identity as people saved through Jesus' sacrificial love by sacrificially serving our neighbors with active compassion, and ministering the gospel through word and deed.
